Squad Up At The Polls: Voter Registration Made Easy

Return to Blog

2018 is more than halfway over, y’all and if we learned anything from Black Panther and A Wrinkle In Time it’s that the future is ours for the taking.

But we’re not just gonna wake up one day in Wakanda. (Unfortunately.) Nahhhhhh, we gotta make it. Dream it. Believe it. Plan for it. And prepare!

One way to make sure you’re ready for anything is to register to vote. People say all the time that it’s as easy as pie but how easy is it, really?

We’re not gonna leave you high and dry like that. Let’s go through it together!

Step One: Know Your Status

So, um, are you already registered to vote? Did you recently move or change your name? Lots of things can happen in a person’s life in the course of a year, so if you’re not sure, it’s best to check yo’self before you wreck yo’self.

We got you, though.

Step Two: Register to Vote

Ok, cool. That wasn’t so bad. Now that you know you’re not registered, what do you do now?

Time to get that registration on!

Visit www.webuiltthis.org. And click on the link at the top of the page that says — you guessed it — Register! Let’s do this.

Filling out this form for your state and submitting it should take you to another website to finish your registration. Depending on the state, you can either complete your registration online or sometimes you have to print out the form, sign it, and mail it in.

Don’t worry — they’ll tell you.

Boom. It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3! Go forth and stunt on these haters at the ballot box.

We built this. And we’re gonna keep building it.
