Born in Panama and raised in Brooklyn, Jason attended Brooklyn Technical High School before graduating from Holy Cross High School. He then went on to earn varsity honors as a member of the McNeese State University basketball team. Jason’s professional basketball career took him to various countries, including France, Chile, Saudi Arabia, where he proudly represented the Panamanian National Team. Notably, he had the privilege of earning a role in Spike Lee’s ‘He Got Game,’ which led to his association with Nike. During his time at Nike, Jason collaborated on eight commercials and 12 global campaigns in a consultative capacity for over a decade.
Following his basketball journey, Jason pursued higher education and earned his MBA from Purdue University, marking the beginning of his marketing career. As a Product Marketer, he has contributed to numerous campaigns with organizations such as American Express Global Business Travel, Carlson Wagonlit Travel, Compass, and Zillow Group.
In addition to his professional endeavors, Jason co-founded Honor Humanity, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to supporting under-served communities across the country. Jason has also developed a passion for running, completing two marathons, nine half marathons, and a total of 55 races. Currently, he is on a personal quest to conquer the Abbott World Majors Marathons in iconic cities, including NYC, Chicago, Boston, Tokyo, London, and Berlin.
