Justin Kidd is a Content Director at Do Big Things, where he helps campaigns create strategies to forge meaningful connections with their supporters that drive them to take action.
Justin began his career writing for President Obama’s social media accounts and email list, and has since helped campaigns and organizations—from City Council to the U.S. Senate—tell their stories through the media and online.
In 2016 he served as Deputy Digital Director for Tammy Duckworth, helping her campaign raise millions of dollars online before returning to OFA for the 2018 midterms. At OFA, Justin helped lead the Campaigns team—developing message strategy for 27 red-to-blue battleground races around the country, and supporting OFA’s 100+ chapters with press guidance and local reporting coverage.
Justin is passionate about protecting and expanding the rights of the LGBT community, and he never turns down an invite to a good protest.
In his free time, you can find him at the lake playing volleyball, cruising around Chicago on his bike, or chasing his cat and dog—Yoshi and Cooper—around their apartment while trying (in vain) to keep them out of trouble.
