Rachel comes to Do Big Things with a decade of communications and operations experience spanning nonprofits, campaigns, and agencies. With a passion for making sure teams have the systems and structures they need to be successful, Rachel works with the organization’s talented staff to ensure Do Big Things is set up to deliver high quality service to clients doing high impact work.
During the 2020 presidential cycle, Rachel joined the Kamala Harris for the People campaign as Chief of Staff to the CFO. She previously served as Deputy Executive Director for Born This Way Foundation, a nonprofit founded by Lady Gaga focused on youth mental wellness, and as a Vice President at DKC, assisting a variety of nonprofit, advocacy, and corporate clients with strategic planning and communications outreach. Rachel has also worked previously for the Democratic National Committee and for NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio, on both his 2013 campaign and in the City Hall Press Office.
Rachel, a graduate of George Washington University, is originally from Massachusetts. She currently lives in Brooklyn where she enjoys bagels and finding new ways to use spreadsheets to stay organized.
